Melissasbargains, CJ affiliate 5355567 stuffing Groupon cookies in invisible (1x1) IMG

Twenty Oft-Found Commission Junction and LinkShare Affiliate Violations - Wesley Brandi and Ben Edelman

Our crawler requests a page on Melissasbargains.com. The page includes an invisible IMG (size 1x1) (blue highlighting) loading the Commission Junction click link with affiliate ID 5355567, redirecting to Groupon.

If the user makes a purchase from Groupon within the subsequent 30 days (Groupon's return-days period), Melissasbargains will be paid a commission even though Melissasbargains actually did nothing to cause or encourage the user's purchase.
