This page gives screenshots showing on-screen displays as traffic flowed from WhenU through intermediaries and on to Google and finally back to the site I was initially browsing, Continental.com. All testing occurred on January 1, 2010.

I began browsing at Continental, a major airline. (Screenshot taken from video at 0:08.)
I then received a popup from WhenU. (Screenshot taken from video at 0:10.)
Notice the Continental advertisement at center-right. Notice the lack of the pay-per-click ad labels ("sponsored links" or similar) required under FTC authority.
I clicked the Continental ad and, after a bit of redirect delay, was taken to a double display of Continental, as shown below. (Screenshot taken from video at 0:38.)
